We will be moving to Ferragudo to start with, I think my kids will go by bus so maybe wont see many of the other parents which is a shame.

Yes SunChild it is definitly worth checking out both schools as I was told that there was a 50/50 ratio between the Portuguese and International section so thats something I will be double checking -...

Sorry meant to say is it too quiet in the winter - coming from Dubai its nice in the winter and horrid in the summer!!!

I did see the league tables but VVIS is not mentioned and also I am unsure...

Many thanks for all your help over the last few weeks - I have just got back from a very brief visit to look at schools - for me the ISSL and Vilamoura schools will be too far, I was very impressed...

Wow thats very encouraging - we will be based in Ferragudo near Portimao for a while as we have a small (very small) cottage there - the idea is to take our time and find the right location for us...

OK - getting a bit confused here, is the Barlavento primary school affiliated with the Phoenix secondary - or am I being dumb??

I also liked the VVIS as part of the curriculum in the primary...

Hi,

My kids will be 13 (going into grade 9), 11 (going into grade 7) and 7 (going into grade 3)

I like VVIS because it caters for all of them.

I will look at the other school you mentioned...
