EB5 - Conditions Removed!

Finally our conditions have been removed and we now have Permanent Residence status!

I am so grateful for all who have documented their journey through the EB5 process.:D

Yep when I posted that we had received our passports in the UK.

But as I type we are now in USA! We arrived on Tuesday 19 July.

Our GC should arrive sometime in the next 6...

Hehe! Considering how much we paid for the EB5, the courier fee will be a drop in a very large ocean! :-)

I've read it can be as quick as 3-5 days to have the passport returned, so i'll just be extra...

Hi,

Does anyone know if once your visa has been stamped in your passport, if you are allowed to personally collect it from the US Embassy in London.
Just thinking of saving a few days waiting :)...

Our file was sent from NVC to London on 19 May, we heard on the 26 May that our date had been set for 5 July.

As the EB5 is an immigrant visa you receive a letter from NVC with a date for the interview.
For non-immigrant visas you are able to phone and arrange your own interview.

As we lived in South Africa and Holland we needed police clearances from both countries and they requested an unabridged marriage certificate. This just added more weeks/months...

6-8 months is pretty quick!

Our application was received by USCIS on 21 June 2010. NVC eventually completed our application on 19 May 2011 and sent through to London. And the waiting...
