Ok thanks, it all seemed linked to K1, guess was reading it as all being part of it, not either or.

Oh and I have an Arkansas drivers licence, a SSN, a dual citizenship uncle (adopted at birth US mother and UK father, adopted by my UKC grandparents) if any of that is relevant

see a lot of that didn't seem relevant to our situation, because of the K1 visa stuff. A lot deals with being admitted as the fiancee, I wasn't. Was admitted to study and that whole falling in love...
