Actually its not GOAN BANKS you should be discussing (cos there are none) ... but Indian Banks - state governments dont have any role in the banking system which is directly under RBI - the banking...

PAN is a tax identification number. its a bit like the NI number in the UK. its not a number allotted by the bank - but its allotted by the income tax office and you need one whether you pay tax or...

- really ihav given up the hope of making a honest living in goa - employment is out given the ridiculous wages paid; its impossible to engage in a honest business in goa and public sector employment...
