Cheap Tiles

Anyone know of a cheap supplier of wall and floor tiles in Davao. Forget Citi or Ace, much too expensive for me. Love to hear from anyone who can help. Thanks in advance.

I agree. The STAR account is the way to go. Cheap, and if you get it right, instantanious transfers. I always find the longest period for me is getting the cash from the NatWest account to the STAR.

I've lived here since 2006 so I remember the highs and lows over that time. I just find it incredible that as soon as I get a decent retirement income the bloody pounds sinks again.

Angry Exchange rate

What the f@#K has happened to the pound and all major currencies. The pound exchange rate is continuing to drop verses the Peso. My pension is affected obviously. Anyone know why?:confused::confused:

The thing I find most flustrating is that if you buy something like a bed or loads of stuff in Ace Hardware, you have to get some delivery yourself. I live in Kidapawan and have nearly built a house....

Be careful. I live here in Mindanao under Mt Apo. There are NPA and muslim gunmen, then kidnappers. You could still come and be a tourist. But the whole "Backpacker" thing like Thailand etc will draw...
