Re: Driving license in CT and drugs and alcohol course

Oh, and at no point have I said 'There must be a way!' - I just said I'd be walking until I could get myself sorted, that's all. Why would anyone have a problem with that??? Who would care whether I...

Re: Driving license in CT and drugs and alcohol course

OMG. I wish I had never asked - I had no idea anyone would be that bothered about someone else's life. I'm done - I'm not a recluse, I haven't withdrawn from society, and I have far better things to...

Re: Driving license in CT and drugs and alcohol course

Of course I have to abide by US laws. If I was on holiday I would have to abide by US laws. Do I have to live here all year? No. Not that I am going to do that, but I could, and people do it all the...

Re: Driving license in CT and drugs and alcohol course

If I am not resident in CT (for more than 183 days per year I believe) I can use a UK license, just as anyone living in California half of the year can drive in NY on a Californian license, just...

Re: Driving license in CT and drugs and alcohol course

Not a teenager or any way near there I'm afraid. Rebellion? Not really, though not a fan of red tape. Was it my comment about sabotaging the course that you consider rebellious? Obviously we don't...

Re: Driving license in CT and drugs and alcohol course

Insurance is not a problem - someone crashed into me in California, we claimed through my company even though it was the other party's fault, and there was no problem whatsoever, and in California...

Swapping UK license for Canadian one

Bit of an odd one here, but here goes anyway. We have just relocated to Connecticut (US) and I am going through a driving license nightmare as they have no reciprocity with the UK - I would have to...

Lol - not quite sure how this ended up as a thread on breastpumps, but thanks anyway!

The driving instructor at the school today said there was no need to stress about the 60 day limit - as long...

We've just relocated to CT from CA, where I didn't get a US driving license as I was under the impression that I couldn't because I couldn't get a SS number (it actually turns out that I could have...
