Try a letter in the "Pattaya mail"newspaper.You could also contact the several Christian churchs in Pattaya.Maybe the Thai police have a record of foreigners who die for just this occasion?

Yes its very expensive!!I cannot afford it so always have enough money for an air ticket if something serious comes up.Minor stuff you can use a gov hospital and they are reasonable ,had phneumonia...

Regents school is about 14k outside Pattaya,good school but expensive.Pattaya is a very sociable place with a large expat community .Make sure the job has a good salary though!!!!

Google Hotels in Jomtein,this is the quietr side of Pattaya.Not that quiet but good bars ,restaurants and beach and a taxi ride away from frenetic Pattaya!!Hope you enjoy the experience!
