Yeah the whole swearing thing is a big issue here isnt it? I have become very aware of my swearing, and even been made aware of words that I use that I didnt even think constituted swear...

yep I was introduced to using paper plates on a regular basis by my husband...have to say though, I like not having to wash plates anymore ..and we do pull out the proper dishes for special occasions...

lol :D absolutely..the very first time I went shopping here, my husband and the casheir watched on in shock as I started packing my bags..it was like I was guilty of some kind of supermarket...

thats another one..I still get really odd looks when I ask where the shopping trolleys are (one of my friends thinks this is a really cute name for them)..I just cant bring myself to call them...

1) an unnatural obsession with the condition of my lawn..
2) lose the use of my legs when distances are greater than 1/2 mile..must take car...

I told my mum first..I think she knew it was coming so it wasnt too bad...my dad was a different story, it took me ages to tell him as I didnt know how he would take it. I think I got the courage up...

(St Louis) and were told that it could take up to 3 months to get security clearance etc completed - I thought that was a long time til I read...

I was in the same boat...I had my medical exam in London ( for K1) but didnt get my vaccinations as they said I could get them in the US...there were 3 civil surgeons near us and they all said that...

aah that was handy :) I think St Louis is a walk in for advance parole which would be nice, and at least I would know right there and then if I was allowed an AP...anyway, thank you for your speedy...
