A friends daughter flew out to stay with us in August 2010 - she was 15 when she came over, 16 when she flew back - from Manchester to Austin, TX.

She flew American (poor thing) and they paid...

I arrived in San Antonio two hours early so I knew exactly where I was going! Now sat catching up on work in a Starbucks. 45 minutes until my interview :) About to pack up and head over there.......

My husband was well impressed with my 'correct answer skillz!!!' And my four year old has them all down too after listening to the CD in the car...

If the county is going figure out that I (one person out of thousands) might not know where my receipt is and try to collect again on my $300 fine from 2003/04 then they're not using their resources...

Yikes, I forgot about my speeding ticket too... it was a good few years ago. Not sure I still have the paperwork... or even know what county I was in (on a road trip)....

I've been doing that, as well as the CD they gave out at the biometrics appointment - putting it on shuffle in the car so that I don't get used to the order :) Yelling my answers out before the lady...

Is your accent still strong? I've been told (by Brits) mine is watered down after 11 years here... but I can still turn it on thick when need be and become a good old Yorkshire lass... works well...

There are a whole bunch of visa's... but she doesn't really fit into any of them - other than the sibling sponsorship - which we'll totally do but, chances are by the time her application comes...
