Hi,

Quick update. The Immigration Officer has accepted my argument and has reinstated my points. Hoorah! So it's all systems go again.

The only thing is that I was selected from the pool out...

My hours have varied over the past 5 years due to the nature of my job. I have had periods when I've worked, 24, 27 and also 30 hours per week.

When you do the calculations versus the 30 hours...

I'm not sure what he's got. I know it's the equivalent of the current NVQ Level 3 but I'm going to have to dig his old certs out. He thinks it may have been City & Guilds.

We have decided not to go with an Immi advisor because they want £4000 for their services! We did have the basic 'Will you qualify?' service from them and she said that my husbands qualifications...

Yes. I believe that my husband doesn't qualify for the skilled migrant category at all since they took scaffolding off the Shortages List, and I'm not convinced that my Purchasing background will be...
