ok, thanks folks for clearing that up, reckon then we'll be just applying for permanent residency though experience class after 12 months and hoping it doesn't take 2 long so he can get back to work

hmmm i need to research that again as my reading of that is that if i'm on iec he can get a twp but that could be just because thats the understanding i want from it :D:D

Hi, i'm in similar position planning to move on IEC in next few months so plan is for me to get a job in noc 0 or 1 category and he will then qualify for a temporary work permit so it is possible...

thanks for reply :-) am hoping to do a holiday in March /April to compare both. I won't have a job before we go i reckon but if i can meet up with agencies in march time to go through my experience...
