it was team3 initially, but in between i got emails from team2 as well, so i guess the teams dont really mean anything...maybe some internal process they have

sent them an email in august 2010. Only sent them an email one. They told me my application was referred. didnt bother them after that.

initial entry is valid till 11 dec 2011, exactly one year from the date of my external checks completion (which was 11 dec 2010)

and the funny thing is that all my documents are still in the "required" state. So i guess you cant count on their status to get an idea about your application progress.

Yes, my internal checks were completed in March 2010 and external were completed in dec 2010 (called DIAC and they gave me this info)

I did send one mail to IGIS in-between and they just replied...

I got a call for 2nd Medicals and PCC on 13th dec. Submitted both on 18th jan 2011. Medicals got finalized on 8th Feb. when should i be expecting my visa grant? any ideas?

Latest i heard from DIAC was that my internal checks were completed on around the 23rd of March, and then my application was sent for external checks which can take a maximum of 6 to 8 months. Lets...

I have called DIAC 2 times in the last 3 months and according to them the INTERNAL CHECKS are complete (completed 24th March) for me. And now my application is going through the EXTERNAL CHECKS...

I agree. DIAC told me the same thing when i made an inquiry after submitting my FORM 80. 6 to 9 months after form 80 sounds credible.
