We had more in ours than was needed and only declared the source for what we used for financial requirement. Ours was approved so I wouldn't worry. 😊

I know it's not Australia but I'm shipping my two cats from the U.S. and going direct with British Airways, they quoted 1182 but that will be subject to change after they are weighed at the cargo...

Thanks, these are really helpful suggestions. I was considering the hotel option it all depends on the flight times. How is the drop off at the cargo facility? Was it fairly straightforward?

When the time comes to move I will be bringing two cats over from the U.S. I am a little concerned about how they'll do with the journey especially as I am about a 3 hour drive from a major airport....

Ah ok ha after years of dealing with US immigration I still read things as though I am the applicant ;)

The financial document on the uk.gov website does state that you can count the applicant's income toward your earnings abroad for the past 12 months if you are in your current job less than 6 months...

So after reading and re-reading the financial requirements it seems that as long as the UKC has a job offer at the financial requirement level then there are some flexible ways to make up your income...
