I applied online and onshore and got it by email within a few hours for the sum of $250 - i applied after 2 months on an ETA and was awarded a further 4 months (6 months in total)

Hello

We got our 820 visa 2 weeks ago and I would like to change my name to my married name (my hubby is the aussie)

It is easy with the bank and medicare etc but I am a bit confused what to do...

I was told by the officer that they had relaxed the rules slightly - maybe cos I am married it is different. I just gave them as much as I possibly could inc med and police check, crossed fingers and...

I am now the proud owner of an 820 Visa via post 2 weeks after lodging it!

I didn't have an interview or request for more info apart from one phone call the other day to clear up some confusion...

police checks - $43 or 35 pounds?

I have noticed that police checks seem to cost $43 from Australian Federal Police in Weston, ACT and 35 pounds from ACPO in the UK.

Which is correct? Are they the same?

Can they be acquired...
