Yes she lives with us but she's not fiscally connected to us , she's being registered as a pensioner living abroad but fiscally independently not as a relative.

Thanks for all your help, it's been really useful. We'll keep this Italian address for her bank account as my mother will be permanently living here but we'll register her in 2018 in Italy to help...

She came at the end of October this year. That sounds good advice, I wasn't sure about income tax and also I presume her attandance allowance will end.
