Remember I (stupidly I admit) sent back the i-94 when i was back in england, saying that i had actually got back WITHIN the 90 days.

Actually i havent booked my flight yet...
You see im just not convinced i will get a b2 visa.When i was backpacking 1.5 years ago - I did it for about 11 months. That involved 4 entries to america,...

Im not doubting that i cant use the vwp program...what im questioning is whether or not they KNOW if i overstayed or not....

although they have the i94 from when i left which was a new...

so hang on a second - crg is saying that they DONT ask about overstays on the form? is this true?

If only there was a way of KNOWING whether or not they overstayed. You see remember...when i left the US - i had lost the i-94 form so filled a new one in..also i had a different pasport to the one i...

Im fine with getting the b2 - but im worried that because of my overstay they wont give it...or will that be okay - ie most brits getting a b2 are getting it because they overstayed..

also - are you sure passports are swiped when you leave? im 99.99% sure my passport was not swiped as i left.

that when i returend to the UK i found my i-94 form..and on the advice of a friend who had done the same thing succesfully, i sent off that i-94 form to the US embassy saying that i...

no i dont have a visa yet. what visa would i need?
I should also add that when i left america, i couldnt find my i-94 slip, so i had to fill a new one in - i take it this makes no difference?

Im british - about a year and a half ago i entered the US on the visa waiver program. I was backpacking and due to a problem with my flight, i overstayed by 8 days.

Soon i will be going back to...
