Im on a spouse 309/100 visa but 2 year temp expired last dec and 2nd paperwork go in for permanent :)

just curious then....
when your temp visa is up and you then are contacted by DIAC for 2nd stage...if it takes months to grant a PR, then surley after the Temp visa expires...we would be illegals?...

Yes, i did...i did my police check 1st and then my meds/xray. those were done in Oct 09, i eventually sent my application in on 18th dec

I had something to sort out just after xmas and i sent off the letter to my CO and 6 weeks down the line...i wanted to make sure he had it (piece of mind).
he sent me an email back stating "I HOPE...
