thanks, sadly she has explained the full story and they will not entertain us.. and now that we have made them aware I'm even more cautious to just give them the old driver number and wing it.

Hi, there is an active expat group here in Oakville, perhaps they are relaxed about boundaries if you don't find one more locally? There seem to be lots of Brits in Dundas though so I'd be surprised...

It's usually in the baking aisle, rather than with jams / peanut butter where you would look in UK. Find the yeast / baking powder and you are in the right vicinity. (Marmite that is)
