Re: Receipt number issues, contacting USCIS Q's

Awww, I really miss this forum. I'd be here wasting hours of my time if I wasn't so busy. Thanks for the well wishes.

I'll give it some time. I've learned to become very patient during this...

Re: Taxes with alien spouse not in US

Alright, I'm going to file as "head of household." My W-2 says my taxable marital status is "single." I'll look into getting an ITIN number for my husband later. Thanks.

Re: illegal immigration VS us

I agree it may not be great to be illegal, but I still don't see the justice of this new legislation. It's not just illegals who spend years waiting and wondering. Just take a look at my timeline. ...

Re: USA immigration office in Cairo

Mustafa,

Based on what I read on the website, it looks like you're wife can't petition for you in Egypt since she already left after you got married. She has to file the I-130 petition at her...

Re: Carrying dogs, a NYC thing or everywhere?

This topic got me thinking (or not). I have a few million-dollar doggie ideas:

Pocket pooches - Now men can walk around with little dogs, too.

Micromutts - For the price of taking care of one...

Re: Carrying dogs, a NYC thing or everywhere?

Do you have restaurants for cats in LA? The Meow Mix Cafe opened in 2004 here in NY. I don't know if it's still in business or not.

Re: Carrying dogs, a NYC thing or everywhere?

Re: Re-entry permit question

Hi Rene.

I asked someone who's had a "white passport" before, and I'm told they do still need their country's passport. It can be presented instead of the greencard upon reentry to the US. It's...
