Two years into my L1A stay in the USA, and - after a number of setbacks and delays - we're finally getting all the ducks in a row for a GC application.

When I got to the front of the queue, I did a final check of my pockets for keys and things to drop in the tray when I got to the metal detector, and found... my old ipod nano. Had totally forgotten...

Got our DX Secure package today with our passports inside, newly decorated with an L1 and two L2 visas - we're good to go... Massachusetts here we come! This is the point where most posters here are...

So I got an email at the start of the week from the big boss confirming - the company's willing to transfer me to the US, sponsoring L1 and on to green card... been frantically researching since then...
