Don't know the reasoning of it ,but our experience is that we've been unable to access our bank account(they don't send security access codes to non PT numbers) financas,sns and any number of others...

Driving in from Spain last week.....just kept on the motorway crossing the border. No border control. There is probably one in the nearby border town,but have not seen any body there to check.

You don't actually need to be allocated a particular GP to get a prescription or appointment. You'll be a given a general doctor or whoever arrives at the clinic to prescribe and take appointments....

Elecricity out here for almost 10.5 hours. Frozen food Ok ,but think a bit longer might've been a problem.
