You can buy meat from any of a hundred butchers shops and they are all Halal (sp). Don't expect any fancy packaging, you walk into the shop and the animals are hanging in the windows still dripping...

It's called Paco's, gets quite busy on a thursday and Friday and the food is ok in there too.

I'm due to come out to Al Ain at the begining of September and was wondering as to whether to bring my golf bats out with me. Does anyone have any info on courses in Al Ain or ranges etc....

Sorry I'm a newby two, think I'm just coming over with my suitcases and rock and roll from there.

I think it depends on where you are shipping from as to how long it takes etc.

Wonder if anyone can help, my other half has been offered a job with an accommodation allowance of around 3,000 Dirhams per month, is it possible to get a decent furnished villa for this?
