If it is paid in AED only; what measures, if any, are there to protect against the rate. I know that Emirates hedges it AED salary payments to all its employees.

However what if you dont bring the money into the UK or the UK banking system and its held in an offshore account.

People came out to Dubai thinking the streets were paved with gold and they could continue living on credit. Obviously when things caught up, well you saw what happened. Expats leaving their keys...
