Re: Alberta Schools ?

Tell me about it, and with two in daycare it is more. I am not sure that you will find 50-60 for 3 mornings a week. We have found that babysitting is in the $8-10/hr range - you are probably looking...

Re: Basement Apartment Airdrie/Calgary

We found a nice place in NW Calgary on vrbo.com, we stayed there 6 weeks when we landed and searched for a longer term (unfurnished) option and while we waited for our container to arrive.

Re: What car to get

I wish this was the case. I was using the regular fuel for our car, after about 6 months the knocking started thought it was the exhaust or something and took it in to the dealer. They said use the...

Re: UK House sale price hit

Flip it around - if you are a buyer and see a house you like what impact does that have on your offer. If there are a lot of people interested you may put a higher offer in to make it a more...

Re: Best place to live initially in Calgary?

How long are you expecting to be over for work? If it is temporary then I imagine a furnished place would be what you are looking for, in which case something on vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owner)...
