I thought there were quite a few bars there? Beleive they have ben cracking down on letting men in after 9:30 and other restrictions. Any comments?

I like iPlayer as everything listed in one area. I think what im getting at is are BBC stations censored/blocked so iPlayer etc wont work. Has anyone out there tried it?

mmm yes thats what I thought, the visa has all been setup by employer - I will be there for maybe 1 year, but the guy there and he is an senior arab project manager working in saudi, dubai and qatar...

50k, quite a distance but beleive petrol is only 13p a litre. So do you drive? How are you finding Qatar then? There seem to be lots of teachers out there . send me a pm if you like in reply?:thumbup:

Its not the Sheraton as such, apparently very close next door sort of. Company yet to give me the exact details but has large indoor pool plus gym so must be ok. Whill be there approx 1year so need...
