You're right - it can't. I'm unfortunately working till the 30th December - am so counting the days in between packing, shipping and finding somewhere to live!

I lodged mine at Perth and hadn't heard anything for 6 weeks after lodging the nomination. So emailed the info address on the immi.gov.au website. The person who replied gave me the name and email...

Good question Jen, not sure. But would be nice to get it back seeing as it took so long to get them.

Have applied for 121 ENS. Have contacted DIAC and clarified things...so all sorted and on its way. Case officer emailed all the documents needed for medicals to done. Feel like we're getting...

Form 1071i says if you are overseas (offshore) do not complete health examination. The department will provide applicants with details of medical examinations required for circumstances.

Thanks for the info. Will look into in more details. Just printed some stuff off the immi website which says not everyone will need to have both medical and x-ray. mmm...going to call them. Thanks...

did you get get both full medical and x-rays? As on the website it says you will be told whether you need both and I'm now not sure what I need to get done and what my partner will need done

We've applied for 121, receipted on the 8th September and the long wait begins. Has anyone who has applied for a 121 done medicals? If not, any idea how long DIAC took before asking for them?

thats a long wait. When I emailed they mailed back saying 3 months from the time they receive it to it being granted. :fingerscrossed: hope yours comes soon

I sent mine to Perth cos thats where my job is. They've been really good at emailing back and sending acknowledgements - just nothing has been approved yet - starting to worry a little:unsure:

My future employer received a letter from DIAC saying they received my nomination request on the 24th July. We have not heard since and my employer is getting quite stressed about it....
