Did anyone in this forum get a change of status to E3 approved (from H1 or other visa types) with uscis instead of going to Canada or Aussie within the last 3-4 months?

If you have all the required documents you will most likely not have any problems getting the actual visa in your passport.

Whenever you get a visa extension via uscis, you MUST go to a consulate...

Has anyone been able to get a Change of Status to E3 from other type of visas approved by uscis? How long did it take to get if you did this? Anyone with experience, please post. Thanks.

Thanks to Ian, OzEcho and others for replying. The reason I want to change is of course the EAD for spouse. EAD is a big benefit, sitting at home on H4 is not fun! Overtime, it takes its toll on...
