I come on my own because my marriage broke up a few years before and i felt like i needed to make a change in my life. It is a bit scary but i do feel like i could do anything now.

I had my medical and got my visa in about 6 weeks. My house didnt sell and 9 months later still hasnt so i am renting it out for now. Lots of people have had to do that.

Been in Canada 9 months. I am in my 50s and moved on my own but do have cousins here.

I am lucky, i have a great house and got a job very quickly doing much the same thing i was doing in the UK....
