Thanks for the encouraging news. I fly out on Thursday to Brisbane to start my new job. I have left the wife behind to try and sell the house.

I have gone to Pickfords, Britannia and Bishops, also hoping for a 20ft container as I have budgeted £5000 for the move from Ascot to Brisbane.

Just put the house on the market last week. I have a job in Brisbane which starts on the 5th July and the wife will remain in the UK until the end of August. We will then pack up and go sale or no...

See you there. Our visa was approved on the 17th December, the day after I submitted our SA Police clearance certificates - remarkably fast. Looking at your blog we are in a very similar position...

You are right - we were erring on the side of caution. As it stands at the moment the turn around time is around 9 weeks so we are not taking any chances.

Unfortunately I also have to provide a SA PCC because my wife and I lived there over 9 years ago. I have used Bunny Hop Documents (quoted earlier in this thread) at a cost of £110 all inclusive. I...

If you look at the other posts by people who have applied last year, it will give you an idea of the time between initial application and the assignment of a CO. I am assuming that the waiting time...

I think that it is fair to say that the 175 applicants have about a 7 month wait before being allocated a CO. So we should be looking at Nov/Dec this year.

Application: Skilled - Independent (Class VE, Subclass 175)
Nominated occupation : Computing Professional (not e/where class)
Occupation on SOL : SAP Consultant...
