My OH has secured a job in Brisbane (fortitude valley) ,found out yesterday and he starts next week

basically we just want some nice scenery to look at and somewhere for a pony for my daughter.We are fed up of living in built up suburbia but dont want to be too far from shops/schools etc

not true apparently you cannot use a JP according to diac to sign your proof of identity unless they have known you for 12 months!!

I have spoken to the department several times regarding this

it has to be someone who is on the list is an australian citizen and who has known you for 12 months:confused:

we have had a JP do the kids but dont know anyone to do ours

what can we do

we havent seen a doctor,do on line banking etcc so theres no one who has known us adults for 12 months on the list.We...
