Oh man!

Personally, I too would opt for the 'Mainland' - South Island is simply stunning - it makes Nth Island look a bit plain. It isn't - it is gorgeous in its own right, just different.

We live in Rotorua - so I can't comment as an insider. My son has friends that live in Welcome Bay - I haven't got a particular problem with it. I could live there. I think you have to see a place...

Hi Jackie - its all exciting stuff!

We live around an hour from the mount and the surf beaches in Rotorua - lots of lakes and water sports.

Bus services in NZ are not at their best on local...
