I applied on september 15 2009. Today I was glad to see a pre-grant letter in my inbox. I want to ask , how long will it take after pre grant? and does it mean that a visa has been granted?

Today I got a mail from department as a result of PLE stating "I can confirm that ur application has been assigned to a case officer"

but still no contact from CO and no status change.

Dear
Use TCS as it will cost u about 1100 Rs if u tell them to book ur courier under student package. Others like DHL will cost almost 3000.
