Well, we've finally arrived in Saint John New Brunswick, Hoorah:thumbsup: Been busy sorting stuff out, drivers license etc, expected to have to wait 3mths for medicare & have to shell out more money...

Great news Tommy, i take it that you just passed through the normal immigration channels the tourist used.i have been looking at flights to Halifax and then taking an internal flight to Saint John NB...

I was thinking of just entering as a family on holiday and then staying, we already have a house so accommodation is sorted.

Right now, has anyone ever returned to Canada without yet receiving their PR cards?? ours have been delayed as they claim the photos are wrong, background not white enough and the size of our faces...

Landed in Toronto

Yessssss... at last, Our PR is finally sorted.

After only receiving our passports/visas 5 days before flying out to Toronto we're now all done. We landed midday on Mon 15th and after a short queue...

Quick question about the landing process. we are landing in Toronto on Mon to activate our PR and then intend to return to UK after a weeks holiday.

At Last, After several E-mails and many phone calls from me to my immigration consultant and he to the CHC we were finally informed last Tuesday that our visas were to be processed that day.

We're expecting to be landing in NB later this year and i'm wondering if it's better to lease a car on a long term contract (3yr+) or to buy one? Does anyone know of companies who do long term...
