We had never been to NS before but...

Re: NS Recce only 8 days away

Hey Hobbitess,

I don't think Globespan have released a schedule for Halifax for next year. I get the feeling that they might be pulling out of the route but you never know. Best thing to do is...

Re: NS Recce only 8 days away

I haven't really decided to be honest. We don't have any kids so we don't really have to worry about schools, etc. I think i'd quite like something off the beaten track but equally I'd like to be...

Re: NS Recce only 8 days away

Thanks Emmajay! You definitely mirror my own sentiments. I would much rather go, not like it and have to come back to the UK than stay here and always wonder "what if". I think that would be the...

Re: Very useful book for would-be emigrants

Point taken but I can't imagine it would be very easy to scroll through a screen and use a mouse when you're lying on your back! In saying that, I've never tried it so I may need to challenge my...

Re: NS Recce only 8 days away

There's not that much difference in cost too be honest but the issue is more the length of flight. My MIL has quite severe arthritis so would find it very difficult to take on a flight of around...

Re: Very useful book for would-be emigrants

I picked up this book last weekend and its pretty good. Probably is full of info that you can get on here but a book is sometimes so much more user friendly as it's not so easy to slump in to the...
