I agree with u AJT, it is clearly mentioned in the March addition that applicant has to let them know that u have accepted the SS and wish to change the subclass. Thats wat i did. nothing wrong in it.

It is not mentioned in the PLE any word like External Checks. This is the requirements of DIAC, thus applicant has nothing to do with that.

In my case Vic sent my SS to DIAC in just 3 days and after 4 i was approved by DIAC.

When u applied for SS did u mention ur file number in the application form for Vic? If yes then u do not need to ask the Vic for this. I guess File number starts from CFL2007 or BCC2009/............
