Oh joy for being in FL! Even when my co-workers were moaning about the sub-40 temps last week I refused to put any heat on....just seems crazy to me! ;)

Honestly is obviously the best policy, however I would not be offering up any additional info to the CBP...

Exactly! Even with a visa, you can be denied entry if the CBP officer sees fit. Take the risk, or don't. You are not adversely affecting your petition at all. The likelihood may be slightly higher of...

We have started paying more attention to what is on special at the supermarket, as opposed to what we want ;)

Also, don't know if anyone else is down in So Fl, but I'm sure there are similar...

Guys, I am pretty sure your code is 33 "Immigration/Citizenship", not 35 "Overseas Employment/Visa"

33 is for ALL OFFENCES

This could be your issue :)

I applied from the US, and received my certificate about 10-14 days after they got the papers. Easy...

I just took a look at the AFP Police check form, and I think they have upgraded it since I completed it last year, looks like they changed the form in October 2008.

From memory it looks longer...

I am the Australian and my hubby the USC. I was living abroad in Costa Rica when we filed for my K1 in late 2007 - so our cicumstances are similar - prob why the lovely meauxna...
