It is still a bit unclear, but there are some sub categories with this ANZSCO code. So be sure to check, in case your profession is not clearly on the list, but is very closely related.

Hi Darren,

I have an application lodged since March 2008 as IT manager and got caught in the change in priority processing in January 2009..... So do not expect your application to be looked at...

I have applied 3 times for Victoria sponsorship….

In 2007, during an immigration expo in the UK, a DIAC officer told me that a 176 visa is likely to get processed...

Nothing.

I remember reading an interview of the immigration minister, implying that 175 not on the priority list, may have to wait until at least July or seek sponsorship.

Could be worse.

You could have apply for a 175 non CSL/MODL in March 08 like I did, and still wonder if it will be process this year.

Oh well, no other choices than waiting a bit more....

It is my first post on BritishExpats, I guess it has to happen one day after having spent 16 months reading the forum :)

We have applied for an permanent Australian visa quite a while...
