the only details I have are in the timeline posted above - our CO didn't change any of our documents to MET, even after our meds were finalised everything else was showing as...

Hi all, just to update you - we got an email from our CO today, he requested Medicals and PCC within 28 days. We applied for our 175 CSL visa on the 26th June so things seem to be happening quickly!...

Yeah, will be keeping our fingers crossed to get out there next summer! We think we should be fine, my wife is a secondary school teacher - so we are very lucky to be on the Critical Skills...

Just a thought, as Secondary School Teacher appears on the recently updated Critical Skills List it might be considerably less than the 12-18 month waiting period that you suggest.

It would be TA for my wife, and VETASSESS for me. Maybe it's safer just to get the documents they will require certified. Thanks again for the advice!

Another angle to the question!...Is it safe to assume the skills assessment people will accept colour scans of documents as well? Anybody done this?

Thanks for the reply! I have Adobe Acrobat so I can create compressed pdf's, it's good to know I can forgo the hassle of getting everything certified :)
