Thanks for your comments.
We are looking to stay on the Orihuela Costa region. Good for airports, and there is plenty to see and do in the area.
Also not too far away from the Sierra...

My wife is currently a childminder (nanny etc..) but is doing a qualification that will help her getting a teachers assistant post at schools, which she is hoping to do soon....
