Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

LCA never takes that long mate, at least for me it was always within 10 days, max. Are you renewing or a new applicant? Could be something wrong with your application itself. Your employer should...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

Thanks mate, yea if I leave soon after getting a renewal from USCIS (so if we both have renewal for 2 more years from USCIS), but only one of us wants to go to Oz to visit family. My understanding is...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

Glad to see this forum still alive and kicking!

We got our last two E3 & E3D extensions through USCIS. I had a consult with an attorney who says that if I leave the US, my spouse also needs to...

Re: E3 Visa Processing Times-the REAL Ones based on Your experience

Nope, am not of Indian origin. Born & bred Aussie. I think if you have a job, your employer's attorney or any attorney should be able to take care of E3 processing. You can't apply without having a...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

Well at least its approved, so congrats! Enjoy Toronto since you have been forced to stay there now!

It took 6 months and 1 week, almost exactly, to get my E3 renewed along with E3D EAD from...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

In addition, you should also keep in mind that if you are out of a job then even a valid LCA and I-94 does not give you any legal status in the US unless you file a change of status to something else...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

Can you be more specific? What are the categories that are available. USCIS probably will not have a clue and will probably ask you to contact attorney! You can email them and ask though, sometimes...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

Should never have taken advice from an airline employee!!!! Consult an immi attorney instead of taking advice from anyone on the forum. Please post back your experience for others if possible. Good...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

If it is your first E3, always best to do it from Aussie. But you never know it could be fine in Canada too, I guess it depends on who is interviewing you at the consulate.

Re: E3 Visa Renewal

Yup, violated the law because you are not supposed to work without authorization for the new employer!! You should consult an immigration attorney before you try to renew next time, if you do.

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

I think it is possible for your employer to file a part-time job LCA but not sure about the minimum hours that you are required to work on E3 - check with an experienced immigration attorney if your...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

I currently have an E3 visa that's expiring in November, and I'm thinking about renewing it. Also considering applying for a green card, since my employer is willing to help me apply for it.

Has...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

How many years work experience do you have in the field? Either way you would be better off getting your degrees evaluated and keep the report with you, can't hurt! On the other hand if they do ask...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

First off, why are you so agitated? Is it because the information you read has disturbed your dreamy little world where everything is always hunky dory:rofl: My comments are totally relevant because...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

Stating the facts mate! Even if you have everything by the book, the process has become very slow now. There are many who have not had luck getting renewal despite apparently having all the right...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

USCIS Vermont service center used to process E3 extension of stay applications (I-129) in less than a month. Nowadays though they are extremely backlogged for some reason. It appears that for H1B...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

My bad, ya it appears that China and India born applicants are the only ones with 6-8 year wait time after PERM approval for GC under EB2 and 10 years for EB3!

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

So you want to work 55-60 hours/week?? It is possible to get another E3 and your other employer needs to file LCA and another E3 (I-129) through USCIS or you can go to Canada. But I am not sure how...

Re: E-3 Visa for Australians Thread- It's all in here

If you were not born in Aus and were born in places like China, Mexico, India, etc that have a wait-list for GC, you will not receive GC within 2 years. What you are talking about is EB2 but EB2 also...
