I guess I am one of the lucky ones then. I am really looking forward to my time in the States- but the idea of getting sick terrifies me out there! Makes you appriciate the NHS.

My OH has got a job offer and they are in the process of sorting out the paperwork. I'm afraid I don't know what stage they are at.

My boyfriend is is likely to be granted a "Temporary Work Permit" for two or three years, although I am not 100% sure. :unsure:
