Thanks Bezza - I'm not considering TSS so that's good!

The IB is one of the main reasons I like the sound of Somerset - I also like the non-denominational nature of the "religious" element....

EEK! That sounds pretty dreadful :lol: when you say inappropriate for the climate how is that? I've seen the pics on their website and it looks alright, although they seem to have a bright orange...

We arrive in Queensland on the 11th March and we are very keen to live somewhere on the Gold Coast and I'm gathering possible schools together for a short list of those we wish to visit in person....

Which school does your little girl go to? I've really taken to this area now and I've started to look at the schools in the area with a view to arranging times to meet with the heads when we arrive....

I wouldn't say that this comment is just silly. I certainly did not say that Australia was immune to the same kinds of problems as the UK, and it would be naive to suggest this.

Thanks everyone for your help - I have completed all the forms, still have to get passport pics sorted but hubby went for his chest x-ray on Friday...getting there! Can't wait to be on a plane...

Ok just checked and there seems to be a very easy form for the two girls to get citizenship on their own terms - may be easier to just do theirs separately. I figure if I lodge all three applications...
