Yes I managed to find this info on Border web site thanks, but I wanted to know if he had to use it within a certain time, and yes you are correct he should really use it within 3 months otherwise...

Hi, Not to worry on my enquiry as I found out the info I needed.
Luckily the app for us took only 3 weeks from the time we put it in to collection of the visa... but it can take up to 12 weeks..you...

Hmm yes well as you see immigration are a law unto themselves BUT if you have a carribbean passport you will get a further 6 months and if you have not you may if lucky get a further 6 weeks if they...

Yes indeed a trip off island does give you another extended time, without the long drawn out interview with immigration as to why you want an extension etc...and yes I do agree with you travel agents...

Hi Maggie

Unless you have a passport from Caribbean eg you are a member of a Caricom island you will be granted only up to 6 weeks...about the 4/5th week of your stay you need to go to immigration...
