If I remember rightly in the statistics Bristol schools usually prop up the bottom of the league tables.

Most of Bristol is looking pretty dismal these days. Driving around it seems white people are definetly in the minority apart from Clifton/Henleaze area. South Bristol is also more or less...

nobody should be but a lot of the westerners seem hell bent on trying to find ways of consuming it. which begs the question: why emigrate to an islamic country?

Dengue fever is actually a much more prevelent threat and at present there is no vaccine. It also seems to thrive more in tropical cities rather than out in the sticks.

Lets be clear. If you are foreign and you are drinking alcohol in an Islamic country there is no real reason why you should not be flogged.

I have been and yes Makati architecture is impressive. Certainly I prefer Manila to London though, no question.

English is widespread and the people are very pleasant, but on the whole this is a dangerous and tough city. So many petty thieves, opportunists, hookers and a very real threat of terrorism. Chaps...
