I think that it can be seen as offensive to blind people because the phrase was formulated as an insult, not as a benign description. It infers that having one...

I have spent summers in many different places in Canada and coastal BC has the best summers, imo. Very sunny, minimal rain, very warm without being overly hot, always a sea breeze to keep the air...

You being in Victoria, have you tried 'Victoria Gin'? If yeah, what do you think of it? I like it as something different to drink neat but I find it too flavourful, too sweet or something for a G&T.

I have heard this sentiment many times.

For me, being a white-looking person, I am very aware of the advantage I have in this still racist society. Probably not as aware as my non-white friends...
