How old are kids when they finish school in queensland?

Just curious, cos I really can't work out the year system and their ages due to the school year starting in January.

So, if year 12 is your final year in Queensland, how old are you?

Thanks

If you are self employed and submit your tax return, how long do they allow you to pay your bill ( assuming that you owe them)?

Thanks
