I am already in Australia on 457. That doesn't make any difference as far as I understand it.

Unfortunately, there are plans to change the eligibility period for the Temporary Residence Transition Stream from 2 to 3 years as of March 2018, no formal announcement yet. But if so, I'll then be...

We're living in Margate. My two kids 7 and 4 have just started school here and i'm a mental health nurse just started work. My wife is a child nurse and is not yet working. Anyone in this area...

I have read both that state schools are free to children on 457's and that you have to pay $8000 per child.
