Just get here get your medi card all you need is your uk passport, thats good for 2 years. And then decide they wont leave you bleeding on the street its not the USA.

you have to add your shipping costs incase your container is lost at sea.
there is also an element of the premium to cover you from any damage your container could do to another vessel if it should...

The problem you have is, you have to list all you items then insure them in a category, I had some tools stolen they then said that I did'nt have enough cover for all the tools on the loading list,...

We used LP and when things were stolen i.e a 60 inch plasma tv and other items we had to fight like buggery I even got them a quote 2k better than the best quote they got and they still stuffed...

You can put the money in a ausi bank account in england in $aud Migratingbank.com you then get the same protection or check at your own bank about opening a currancy account
