My friend I referred to earlier told me that the University in Al Ain only takes people who had PhD from UK or USA. He also said that their rates are fixed as far as I remember. However, I'm not sure...

I know someone who used to work as assistant professor in physics in Al Ain just after he had his PhD from USA. They covered his accommodation (large 4 bed flat), flights and medical as you said....
