Norway EHIC
Hello
I am wondering if there has been any update or news regarding UK citizens living in EEA and the debate over EHIC cards.
I am a UK citizen, living in Norway, previously held a Norwegian EHIC, which has now expired. Am I eligible for a new EHIC from either UK or my country of residence ? Also my husband who started receiving his UK state pension in 2021 (after 31 December 2020 !) and was issued an S-1, is he eligible for an EHIC from either country or indeed if I am eligible as a result of my eligibility ?
I have been told by both UK and Norway that we are not eligible for EHIC from either country. This surely breaches the phrase in the Brexit separation agreements that no one should be adversely affected by Brexit !
